Modi's Vision for India: Empowering Youth, Women, and Agriculture

New Delhi: In a heartfelt and visionary address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his dreams for India, focusing on transforming it into a global startup hub, empowering women, and revolutionizing agriculture.
His words painted a picture of a future where innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability are not just goals but realities.
The Prime Minister made these remarks on Ideas presented by Youth on ‘Making India Startup Capital of world’ , ‘Empowering Women’ and ‘Agricultural Productivity’ during his interaction with young leaders.
Discussing agriculture, Modi highlighted the shift towards chemical-free farming, which he sees as a dual win for both cost savings and environmental health. He passionately spoke about his "per drop, more crop" initiative, encouraging the adoption of micro-irrigation techniques like drip irrigation to conserve water while boosting yield.
The Prime Minister then turned his attention to the youth and the agricultural sector, advocating for the promotion of Shree Anna, or millets, as superfoods. He stressed the importance of creating better market access for small farmers and promoting crop diversification. Modi proposed an innovative approach where farmers could experiment with different crops on a quarter of their land, expanding successful experiments to larger areas.
Addressing India's reliance on edible oil imports, Modi called for self-sufficiency, integrating efforts like the Palm Oil Mission and Edible Oil Mission to reduce external dependencies. He foresaw a future where young farmers and entrepreneurs could lead this charge.
Modi's speech was also a tribute to Indian women's pivotal roles in dairy and agriculture. He emphasized that the development of these sectors should go hand in hand with women's empowerment, providing women with opportunities to showcase their capabilities.
On the topic of startups, Modi urged the young innovators not to limit themselves to mere business models like aggregation but to focus on groundbreaking solutions to global problems, aligning with the demands of the 21st century.
